The internet is fawning over a selfie featuring two gorillas, Ndakazi and Ndeze, and Mathieu Shamavu, a ranger at Virunga National Park in eastern Congo. Shamavu told the Associated Press that he was checking his phone when the two gorillas began to mimic his movements, so he took a picture with them.

"The photo was taken while I was following these gorillas as we are trying to take them to their natural environment from time to time," Shamavu explained. A rain-swollen Oklahoma river swept away a home on its banks Wednesday evening as severe weather continued to hammer the area.

Video from KOCO-TV showed the Cimarron River swallow the Crescent, Oklahoma, home, which could be heard being torn off of its foundation before the river carried it away.

Jessica Eldridge said her car was already parked in the garage. To avoid cleaning their garage out, her husband proposed to park it in the house.

"I said there was no way he could. He said he could," Jessica said. "So he opened the double doors and had it in. I was amazed that it could fit. He had it in with no problems."

A pair of massive boulders, one described as being the size of a building, rolled off a Colorado hillside and smashed into a highway Friday.

A fire is burning on national forest land north of Phoenix, and authorities believe the blaze was man-made.

A family fishing in Cape Cod Bay got up close and personal with a great white shark that leaped out of the water to snatch a fish they had caught right off the line.

Doug Nelson caught the leaping shark on video on Saturday, July 20. His son Jack and others aboard the boat can be seen in the video recoiling as the shark breaches.
