I make bunuelos!

Bunuelo's recipe
2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
2 tbsp. melted butter
Sift dry ingredients together. Beat egg and milk together and add to dry ingredients. Add melted butter and mix well. Turn out on floured board and knead a few times. Wrap and chill dough. Pinch off pieces about the size of a walnut. Roll into smooth balls. Roll out very thin, paper thin, into smooth balls. Each one should be about 5" or 6" round. It is best to roll out all the bunuelos, stacking with parchment paper between them before you begin to fry them. Fry bunuelos in oil. Drain well on paper towels. While still hot, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
